Thanks for all the work you've done on the wiki -- it's great to have some easy-to-understand instructions for folks. Personally, I find it next to impossible to track down the information I need in the MediaWiki docuemntation, so what you've done has already been helpful to me.

I am tempted to restrict anonymous users to read-only privileges because of the spam, but I'm going to hold off for a while. Since I encourage anonymous comments on my blog, my readers aren't always familiar with the idea of creating a log-in account in order to post. Once they learn how to use the wiki a little better and we get more focused in the things we're doing with it, it will be easier to get them to take that step. --Ed Foster 21:13, 1 February 2006 (PST)
